David Jones in Doncaster is seeking a Sales & Service Manager for a limited-tenure role from Dec 2026 to Dec 2027. You will lead by example on service principles, coach a team, and deliver a customer-centric in-store experience Like No Other.

You’ll partner with VM and Logistics, drive sales, and foster valuable stakeholder relationships while maintaining stock and preventing loss. This role requires strong leadership and a passion for retail excellence.

As the Sales & Service Manager, you will be empowered to demonstrate your customer obsession and passion for retail by creating an in-store experience Like No Other. You will successfully deliver a customer-centric environment to maximise sales and service results. The successful candidate will be a dedicated people leader, expected to lead by example and coach the team to provide expert knowledge and seamless solutions. They will demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain excellent stakeholder relationships, with the ability to engage people across the business.

Please note; this is a limited-tenure role from December 2026 to December 2027, with potential to convert to permanent if an opportunity arises during this time.

What YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE

• You will lead by example by personally delivering on our service principles, engaging with customers, driving sales, and building a loyal customer base.
• You will coach and mentor the team to provide expert knowledge and seamless solutions.
• You will be visibly present on the selling floor, leading by example and inspiring the team to create warm connections.
• You will work collaboratively with the store teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• You will look for opportunities for improvement whilst being commercially aware.
• You will work collaboratively with the VM and Logistics teams to ensure the allocated stock is floor-ready within the relevant timeframes.
• You will identify areas of opportunities for feedback to the Merchandise team.
• You will maintain stock loss awareness by working closely with the sell and support teams to mitigate loss by ensuring proactive measures are implemented.
