Job summary

Fitness First in Sydney is seeking a Sales Consultant (Member Support Consultant) to be the heartbeat of the club, greeting members and sparking motivation to start their fitness journey. You will drive membership growth through community outreach, referrals, and proactive outreach, delivering sales presentations and tours, and building strong relationships with new and existing members.

The role offers base salary plus uncapped commission with typical earnings around AUD 65K+, a Platinum

Qualifications

• Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
• Strong communication skills to engage with potential members and inspire action.
• Problem-solving mindset to meet member needs and close sales.

Responsibilities

• Proactively contribute to club sales budget using promotions and referral campaigns.
• Generate and convert high-quality sales leads through community outreach and referrals.
• Achieve required number of lead contacts via phone to maximize opportunities.
• Provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members.
• Create positive member journeys through personalized interactions.
• Achieve successful outcomes to inquiries.
• Open and close the club as per roster.
• Participate in member retention programs to keep members engaged.
• Conduct regular service calls to new and existing members to boost results.

The Opportunity

At Fitness First, our Sales Consultants (known in house as Member Support Consultants/MSCs) are the heartbeat of the club. You’ll turn interest into action — introducing people to the club, helping them discover what they’re capable of and showing them how Fitness First can support their goals. At the same time, you’ll build strong relationships with existing members, delivering exceptional service and creating positive experiences that keep them motivated and engaged.

As an MSC at Fitness First, your impact is felt every day; through the members you support, the community you build, and the results you help deliver.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively contribute to club sales budget utilising sales promotions and referrals campaigns

Requirements:

• Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
