Job summary

PetPeople in Western Australia is seeking a Part Time Sales Associate to help our customers find natural, wholesome pet foods and care items. You will engage with pet owners, share product knowledge, and deliver friendly service that builds lasting relationships in a community-minded store.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, restocking, merchandising, and keeping the store clean and welcoming. A love of pets and a passion for animal welfare are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service with a friendly, entertaining experience for pets and their people.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay current with new product releases.
• Assist in processing shipments, restocking, merchandising and price/display accuracy.
• Complete transactions quickly and accurately at the POS.
• Keep the store clean and organized; follow cleaning schedules.

A PetPeople Part Time Sales Associate models our Mission and Core Values. Striving to be the neighborhood place for natural foods and quality supplies for dogs and cats; engaging customers through sharing ideas and providing solutions to build lasting relationships. Sales Associate responsibilities include:

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a genuine, friendly and entertaining experience - for pets and their people!
• Maintain solid product knowledge and keep current with new product releases.
• Utilize daily and monthly cleaning lists and perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized store.
• Assist in processing shipment, replenishing product, merchandising and monitoring floor stock to ensure all product is priced, displayed and rotated correctly.
• Complete transactions at the POS quickly and accurately.
• Celebrate successes.
