The Role
As the Sales & Service Supervisor, you'll play a key role in driving business growth and supporting operational performance across Central Queensland.
This hands-on role combines sales, customer relationship management, business development and operational coordination. You'll work closely with customers, site teams and management to identify opportunities, improve service outcomes and ensure projects and services are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.
Regular travel throughout Central Queensland and surrounding regions will be required to support customer engagement, business development activities, operational requirements and project delivery.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience in sales, business development and customer relationship management.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and secure growth opportunities.
- Experience coordinating operational service delivery in a safety and compliance-focused environment.
- Ability to manage contractors, resources, workflows and customer requirements.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management capability.
- Experience using CRM systems, reporting tools and operational documentation.
- Waste management, environmental services or industrial services experience will be highly regarded.
- An understanding of waste classification, disposal requirements and environmental compliance, or the ability to quickly develop technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)
- Promote and comply with all Company HSEQ policies, procedures and standards.
- Lead by example and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
- Encourage hazard reporting, consultation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure incidents, hazards and HSEQ concerns are appropriately reported and managed.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop opportunities across regional councils, mining, resources, industrial and commercial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships that support retention and growth.
- Maintain an active and accurate CRM pipeline.
- Prepare and progress customer proposals, opportunities and account plans.
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through both existing and new customers.
- Work with operational teams to promote capabilities and deliver customer-focused solutions.
Operations & Service Delivery
- Assist in the coordination of the day-to-day operational activities to ensure safe, compliant and efficient service delivery.
- Assist with the planning and execution of projects, contracts and customer requirements.
- Assist in the coordination of people, equipment, contractors and resources to achieve customer outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with operational teams to resolve issues and improve workflows.
- Support scheduling, training, inductions and operational documentation.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with regulatory, environmental, customer and contractual requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, capability and profitability.
