Job summary

Independence Australia Group is seeking a confident WHS professional to lead the development and standardisation of ISO 45001 aligned documentation across the business. You will work with a supportive team to strengthen WHS systems and drive meaningful improvements.

You will review and streamline processes, prepare executive reports, and engage stakeholders to embed best practices, while enjoying hybrid work arrangements and opportunities for career growth within a values-based social enterprise.

Qualifications

• Strong experience implementing ISO 45001 in complex organisations.
• Proven ability to review, streamline and standardise WHS processes.
• Experience preparing executive or Board-level reports and insights.
• Excellent engagement with diverse stakeholders to drive compliance and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and standardisation of WHS documentation across the business per ISO 45001.
• Build and maintain document control systems, registers and reporting frameworks.
• Prepare board and management reporting with clear data insights.
• Drive consistency and alignment of WHS procedures, systems and records.
• Consult with stakeholders to embed WHS practices across the organisation.
• Provide coaching and technical guidance to WHS Business Partners.

About the role

You will join us at anexciting time of growth and transformation, where you will play a key role in strengthening and standardising our Work Health, Safety and Wellbeing systems across the organisation.

You will work closely with asupportive and highly experienced team of WHS professionals, contributing to meaningful, organisation-wide improvements.

What you will be doing

• Lead thedevelopmentand standardisation of WHS documentationacross the business in line with ISO 45001 framework.
• Build andmaintaindocument control systems,registersand reporting frameworks.
• PrepareBoard and management reporting, translating data into clear insights.
• Driveconsistency and alignment of WHS procedures,systemsand records.
• Consult with stakeholders across the business to improve and embed WHS practices.
• Provide support, coaching and technical guidance toWHS Business Partners.

About you

You are a confident and collaborative professional who enjoys working across a business to improve systems,processesand outcomes.

You bring:

• Strong experience in ISO 45001 framework,WHS systems,complianceand document control.
• Ability toreview, streamline and standardise processesin complex environments.
• Experience preparingreports, insights and executive or Board-level documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability toconsult and influence across teams.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
• Tertiary qualifications in WHS (or related discipline) and experience working within legislative and ISO 45001 framework.
