Job description
What does the job look like?

We are looking for a proactive Safety & Compliance Manager to partner with operational teams across multiple sites in Queensland. Reporting directly to the National Safety & Compliance Manager, this independent role is accountable for lifting safety performance and compliance standards, driving continuous improvement and supporting our Vision Zero commitment. The position operates Monday–Friday with flexibility to align with site activities.

  • Drive a positive safety and compliance culture across multiple operational sites.
  • Collect, analyse, and report on safety and compliance data to site and senior management.
  • Facilitate and participate in safety committee meetings and regular workplace inspections.
  • Lead and support incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
  • Coordinate and oversee internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion of actions and continuous improvement.
  • Promote and uphold Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements and customer reporting standards.
  • Engage with operational teams to encourage constructive feedback, process improvement, and a collaborative approach to safety
Are you the one?
  • You hold at least a Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or Compliance (a tertiary qualification in OHS or a related field is highly regarded).
  • You bring a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a safety or compliance role, ideally within transport, logistics, or a similar operational environment.
  • You are experienced in conducting incident investigations and audits, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • You are skilled at influencing others and encouraging a collaborative approach to safety and compliance.
  • You are comfortable using digital tools and systems to manage data, reporting, and training records.
  • You demonstrate integrity, accountability, and a commitment to upholding company values in everything you do
