A health district in New South Wales seeks a Senior Clinician for the Safe Wayz Program focusing on children with problematic behaviors. The Safe Wayz Program is for children under the age of 10 years who display problematic or harmful sexual behaviours (PHSB). The Safe Wayz Senior Clinician roles (FTE) will sit within the Integrated Violence Prevention & Response•Service (IVPRS) structure.
IVPRS is responsible for strategic leadership, clinical service provision and capacity building for the portfolio areas of sexual assault, domestic violence, and child protection.
The Safe Wayz Senior Clinicians are responsible for the co-ordination of the Program within WSLHD, adopting a strength based, family focused, culturally centered, trauma informed approach to working with children and families to help prevent problematic or harmful behaviours from escalating.

Qualifications: Tertiary qualification (minimum bachelor's degree) in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or Graduate Certificate in Human & Community Services (Interpersonal Trauma) and eligibility for appropriate professional registration or association membership
