Job summary

Altis Consulting Pty Ltd, an Australian Data and Analytics leader, seeks a Managing Consultant to lead client solutions across Data warehouses, BI and analytics projects. You design data solutions, build robust pipelines, and mentor teams while translating business needs into measurable results.

You will work in a hybrid model with a diverse, high-performing team, delivering value for varied industries and shaping Altis methodologies and collateral.

Qualifications

• Experience translating business requirements into Data Warehouse, BI and Analytics solutions.
• Strong data integration, ETL design and data modelling skills.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS or Azure desirable).
• 5–7 years in consulting and implementation in data/analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data & Analytics projects, delivering on time and within scope.
• Design and develop high-quality data solutions and data pipelines.
• Provide technical and team leadership to junior members.
• Translate complex requirements into actionable analytics solutions.
• Contribute to proposals, identify opportunities, and support growth.

You aredynamic Managing Consultant who combines initiative, technicalexpertise, andstrong communicationskills to lead client solutions. You excel in managing Data and Analytics projects andpossessthe ability to navigate all phases of the development lifecycle. Your experience allows you to design high-quality business solutions that create value and enhance performance, while your leadership inspires junior team members and fosters a collaborative environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Lead and deliver Data & Analytics projects on time, within scope, and to agreed quality standards.
• Design and develop high-quality business and technical solutions that improve performance and unlock opportunities for our clients.
• Take ownership of your work, bringing autonomy, accountability, and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Translate complex requirements into clear, effective Data & Analytics solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Stay ahead of industry, technology, andmethodologytrends to bring fresh thinking to every project.
• Lead small to medium project teams, providing both technical and team leadership.
• Coach and mentor junior team members to help them grow and succeed.
• Build andmaintainrobust data pipelines, implement data engineering solutions, and ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Contribute to proposals,identifynew opportunities, and support Altis’ growth.
• Help develop and refine Altis methodologies and project collateral.

The Knowledge You Bring:

• Experience linking and translating business requirements into Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, and Analytics solutions
• Data integration with a variety of data sources and tools to extract, transform, and load data
• Good skills in data modelling, data ingestion, and ETL design
• Experience in cloud Technologies (AWS or Microsoft Azure is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills and awareness of industry trends
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A background in consulting and professional services.
• Tertiary qualification in an IT-related subject, or relevant work experience
• 5–7 years of consulting and implementation experience
• 5–7 years broad IT experience
• 5+years experienceof leading data & analytics tools
• 5+ years delivering projects in a client facing environment
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric is advantageous, but not essential.
