Job summary

This is one of the largest providers of allied health and wellbeing services across Central, Northwest and Lower Gulf Queensland. They seek Speech Pathologists to join Mount Isa on a full-time basis, with options for Graduate or Experienced clinicians.

Qualifications

• Registered, or eligible to obtain Speech Pathology Australia membership.
• QLD blue card & NDIS worker screening eligible.
• Current unrestricted C class Australian driver’s licence.
• Right to live and work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Administer standardised and informal assessments within a multidisciplinary team to determine the nature and extent of speech, language, learning and communication disorders or swallowing difficulties.
• Provide treatment and management including ongoing therapy of speech, language, learning and communication disorders that may be developmental, part of a disability, acquired as a result of injury or disease.
• Deliver family centred early childhood intervention strategies.
