Job summary

Robinvale District Health Services in rural Victoria is seeking a Speech Pathologist to cover maternity leave on a full-time fixed-term contract from 4 January 2027 to 19 December 2027. The role involves assessment, intervention and education across community, schools, hospital and aged care settings.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, deliver outreach services and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, with a focus on Aboriginal and culturally diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience.
• Eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership.
• Experience across community health, schools, hospital and aged care.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Current driver's licence and ability to travel within communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech pathology assessment, diagnosis, management and treatment services for communication, literacy, feeding and swallowing difficulties.
• Deliver outreach services through flexible service delivery models, including individual and group therapy.
• Provide services across schools, community health centres, acute and aged care settings.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal client outcomes.
• Build strong partnerships with community organisations, service providers and consumers.
• Promote evidence-based practice and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Deliver training and education to staff, clients and community members.
