Responsibilities

• The principal leads planning, delivery, evaluation and improvement of education for all students.
• As executive officer of the school council, provide advice and ensure decisions are implemented.
• Establish and manage financial systems in line with Department and council requirements.
• Represent the Department in school and local community activities.
• Implement school council decisions and contribute to policy and strategic planning.
• Manage and integrate available resources and involve staff and community in policy development.
• Report on achievements of the school and students as appropriate.
