Job summary

Health Workforce is seeking an experienced Podiatrist to join their Allied Health team in Longreach, Queensland. The role includes outreach travel to surrounding communities, with accommodation and meals provided by the not-for-profit organisation.

The position offers a permanent contract, full-time or part-time options up to 38 hours per week, relocation assistance, and opportunities for professional development within rural and remote Queensland communities.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration or eligibility to obtain registration.
• Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent qualification.
• Current unrestricted Australian C Class Driver's Licence.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of podiatry conditions.
• Deliver diabetic foot care and manage chronic health conditions.
• Provide education that empowers clients to take control of their health.
• Collaborate with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, and support services.
• Provide outreach services across regional and remote communities, travelling by fleet vehicle with travel, accommodation and meals covered by the organisation.
