The Department of Health Tasmania is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to lead Beaconsfield District Health Service’s rural multi-purpose unit. You will provide clinical and operational leadership to a multidisciplinary team, delivering safe, high-quality, person-centred care across sub-acute, residential aged care and community services.

You will manage day-to-day operations, workforce planning, governance, quality and safety, and staff development, working with staff, families and key stakeholders

Qualifications

• Extensive clinical knowledge across acute, subacute, emergency, aged care and community care.
• Contemporary nursing management practice including governance, risk, ethics, legislation and evidence-based practice.

Responsabilités

• Provide effective clinical and operational leadership across the rural Multi-Purpose Service.
• Lead and support a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality person-centred care.
