Baralaba Multipurpose Health Service in rural Queensland seeks a Medical Officer to deliver comprehensive care across emergency, inpatient, outpatient and general practice. You will develop rural generalist expertise while providing 24/7 emergency care with regional support.

Qualifications

MBBS or equivalent enabling AHPRA registration.
Broad clinical experience in general practice, emergency medicine and primary healthcare.
Current ALS and APLS certification.
A passion for rural healthcare and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Deliver care across emergency, inpatient, outpatient and general practice.
Manage a wide range of clinical presentations to grow rural generalist expertise.
Provide 24/7 emergency care with support from networks and telehealth.
Grow private practice through neighbouring general practice clinic.
Lead service improvement and strengthen community connections.
