Job summary

Mediix is recruiting a General Practitioner with obstetric qualifications for a rural service near Adelaide, SA. This permanent role offers flexible hours with part-time or full-time options and a competitive salary package pro-rata.

As part of a multidisciplinary maternity team, you will provide antenatal and postnatal care, attend deliveries, and participate in quality and safety initiatives. Fellowship with RACGP/ACRRM and RANZCOG Advanced Diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Fellowship with RACGP and/or ACRRM required or strongly preferred.
• Advanced GP Obstetric skills with RANZCOG Advanced Diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team-based model of care.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and community health.

Responsibilities

• Manage maternity inpatients in collaboration with midwifery staff.
• Provide antenatal care and attend deliveries requiring medical input.
• Engage in quality and safety initiatives.
• Participate in local health committees and service improvement projects.
