Job summary

Mackay Hospital and Health Service’s Allied Health Hinterland team at Moranbah Hospital invites applications for an Allied Health Rural Generalist (Physiotherapist) on a permanent basis. The role covers a range of clinical conditions and age groups, with care delivered in person, via telehealth and outreach across the Hinterland.

The position works within a Professional Skill-Sharing and Delegation model and includes supervision and training for delegated tasks and an expanded scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Role involves delivering clinical physiotherapy services across multiple sites.
• Operates within a skill-sharing and delegation model.
• Includes supervision and training in delegated clinical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate physiotherapy services to inpatients, outpatients and residents of RACFs.
• Deliver services via in-person visits, telehealth and outreach to the Hinterland.
• Participate in the Rural Generalist pathway and related education programs.
