SA Health’s Limestone Coast Local Health Network invites applications for a Rural Generalist Physiotherapist in Kingston. The role supports inpatient, outpatient, community and outreach services across a diverse rural caseload with 0.8 FTE presence, offering potential for extension.

This temporary 12-month appointment (early 2027 start) seeks either AHP1 or AHP2 level practitioners. Full-time preferred with negotiable part-time options and opportunities for professional development and regional

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised qualification in Physiotherapy and meet all requirements to obtain and maintain current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstrate effective clinical assessment, treatment and physiotherapy skills appropriate to your level of experience.
• Demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and with consumers, families and community service providers.
• Demonstrate a commitment to clinical supervision, reflective practice, professional development, quality improvement and evidence-based care.
• For appointment at AHP2, hold a two-year Masters with a related allied health undergraduate degree or at least two years' postgraduate experience and demonstrate AHP2-level competencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred physiotherapy services across inpatient, outpatient, community and outreach settings across Kingston and surrounding areas.
• Contribute to a diverse rural caseload and support the development of outpatient and community-based services.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team and participate in clinical supervision and professional development.
• Support regional patients and provide clinical leadership as appropriate for AHP2-level practice.
