Job summary

Sante Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Career Medical Officers to join the Emergency Medicine and Anaesthesia teams at Armidale Rural Referral Hospital in Northern New South Wales. This modern 99-bed rural referral hospital serves a population of over 55,000 people and offers broad clinical exposure with experienced specialist support.

You will have opportunities to develop leadership within the ED, participate in teaching and quality improvement, and contribute to safe patient

Qualifications

• General Registration with AHPRA or eligibility in Australia.
• Minimum three years postgraduate medical experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Evidence of participation in continuing professional development.
• Commitment to patient safety, clinical governance and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage a broad range of emergency presentations.
• Work collaboratively with Consultant Emergency Physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient assessment, investigation and treatment.
• Contribute to patient flow and safe clinical disposition.
• Support junior medical staff where appropriate.
• Participate in clinical education, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
