Rabobank Australia is seeking a Rural Manager to join our Queensland branches, focusing on a portfolio of rural clients and growth in the agribusiness sector. You will report to the Area Manager and work to enhance profitability, client satisfaction and credit quality through relationship-driven strategies.

We value candidates with banking experience in agriculture, a strong network in regional communities, and a passion for helping farmers and local businesses grow.

Qualifications

• Experience in banking (Agri preferred) account management or a similar rural account management role.
• Farming or agriculture experience for transition into Agribusiness Banking.
• Proven ability to build, maintain, and grow a client portfolio.
• Proven high levels of customer service.
• Credit and financial analysis skills.
• Desire to make a difference and a passion for success.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of rural clients in alignment with branch goals for profitability, client satisfaction and credit quality.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; source new business through community networks.
• Provide value-add through innovative ideas and local market knowledge.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support client needs and growth.
• Support succession planning and long-term partnerships with farming clients.
