Queensland Health in Charters Towers region is seeking a patient-focused Allied Health Assistant to join the Rural Allied Health team at Eventide Residential Aged Care Facility. This temporary full-time role commences ASAP and runs to 27/06/2027, located in a vibrant inland town about 90 minutes west of Townsville.

You will support allied health professionals, contribute to patient care and help optimise function and quality of life for rural communities under delegated practice.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate IV - Allied Health Assistant preferred; evidence to supervisor prior to commencing duties.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check required for Eventide, Hughenden and Richmond roles as applicable.
• Blue Card Check (working with children) requirements may apply before appointment.

Aufgaben

• Provide administrative and clinical assistance to Allied Health Professionals.
• Work under supervision of the AHP to perform delegated clinical tasks.
• Contribute to patient care at the Interim Bed Unit (IBU), Eventide, Charters Towers.
• Support multidisciplinary team to improve patient flow and functional outcomes.
