Bupa Aged Care seeks a Roving Care Manager to lead and coordinate clinical care across NSW and VIC care homes. You will support the General Manager in delivering person-centred care, driving clinical governance, and ensuring high-quality care standards across facilities.

You will oversee the care home clinical teams, mentor staff, and lead improvements in clinical outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on resident rights and quality of care in line with aged care standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing with APHRA is essential.
• Postgrad qualification in aged care is highly regarded.
• Strong and effective leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Person-centred care mindset and empathy for residents.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home to ensure residents receive the best care.
• Lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation.
• Manage performance, education, and clinical governance processes.
• Review clinical incidents and complaints, implementing risk-reducing actions.
• Lead compliance with AN-ACC assessments and accreditation standards.
• Coordinate person‑centred care planning and evaluation with families.

The heart of the role

As a Roving Care Manager, you’ll lead with purpose - supporting your team and making a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents every day. You will support the General Manager in managing and leading the delivery of person-centred care of residents, ensuring the highest standard of ongoing assessment, care planning and evaluation and clinical governance.

What will you do?

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home ensuring our residents receive the best care available.
• Support and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and education.
• Review clinical incidents, complaints and changes, providing solutions to reduce any risks.
• Lead compliance with AN-ACC assessments.
• Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents - including case conferencing with families and carers.
• Fostering a strong team environment.
• Prepare and conduct clinical governance audits.
• Provide insights and innovative solutions for continuous clinical improvement.
• Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirements.
• Liaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident care.

What will you bring?

• Bachelor of Nursing with current APHRA is essential.
• Post grad qualification in aged care highly regarded.
• Strong and effective leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• A person-centred care mindset.
• A passion for nurturing a strong team environment.
• Ingrained passion and empathy for our residents.
• Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute setting.
• Excellent clinical assessment and triaging skills as well as strong care planning capabilities.
• Proven and demonstrated experience in fostering a reporting culture balanced with your effective investigative skills.
• An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes.
