Job summary

St George Hospital in Sydney is seeking a Rotational Grade 1 or 2 Clinical Pharmacist to join South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. The role involves providing clinical pharmacy services across SESLHDS to optimise medication use, with rotation through clinical, dispensary and production teams.

The position is permanent full-time for two years, supports an AdPha residency pathway for early career pharmacists, and requires availability for a seven-day roster including afterhours and weekends.

Qualifications

• Rotational Grade 1 or 2 Clinical Pharmacist across SESLHD.
• Roster includes seven‑day week with flexible hours, on call, after hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Temporary full‑time appointment for two years with potential for ongoing employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services across SESLHD to optimise safe and appropriate medication use.
• Rotate through clinical, operational (dispensary) and production teams on a rotation schedule.
• Based mainly at St George Hospital, with potential work at other SESLHD locations as required.
