Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Study drawings and specifications to plan plumbing layouts.
• Fabricate and install metal roofing, gutters and flashings.
• Install residential metal roofing, battens, flashings, insulation.
• Install cladding, downpipes, fascia and gutters.
• Communicate progress and coordinate with team and stakeholders.

The Opportunity: Our clients provide quality roofing services for a range of commercial and residential clients and is renowned for delivering quality services for some of the largest builders & construction companies in the industry. They are seeking to expand their Southeast Queensland trade base and have an immediate opening for experienced Metal Roof Plumbers to join their teams. To be successful, you will need to be able to deliver full metal roof installation with exceptional workmanship and meticulous attention to detail.

Skills & Experience Required

• Qualified Roof Plumber - Certificate III in Roof Plumbing or equivalent
• Proven experience in metal roofing plumbing
• 5+ years' experience and advantage
• Accurately read and interpret building plans
• Ensure that all jobs are completed on schedule and match specifications
• Uphold safety and professional standards, creating a safe and respectful work environment
• Adherence to all site and safety requirements
• Ability to work safely at heights
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• White Card - Construction Induction
• Current Driver's Licence
• Have the appropriate tools, licences, registrations and tickets relevant to the work

Additional Information: AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) The role includes: As a metal roof plumber you will install, repair, and maintain metal roofing sheets, wall claddings, flashings, gutters, and downpipes.

Be able to read blueprints, measure and cut metal materials, and ensure all rainwater and stormwater drainage systems comply with building rules and safety codes

Tasks include

• Studying drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required
• Fabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods and flashings
• Installation of residential metal roofing, battens, roof flashings, and insulation
• Installation of cladding, downpipes, fascia, gutters, leaf guard, and whirlybirds.
• Communicate effective with team members and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
• Support, supervise and work within the team.
• Ensure team adherence to all site and safety requirements.
