Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Rolling Stock Team Lead to oversee the Rail Services team in Australia and deliver high-quality consultancy services to rail sector clients. The role focuses on leadership of engineers, project delivery, tender preparation and client engagement across national and international stakeholders.

You will drive business growth, shape rail capability, and ensure safe, on-time execution within budget while aligning with corporate quality and safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of relevant consultancy assignments undertaken for clients in Australia including allocation, estimating, tendering, planning, execution and close out.
• Prepare responses to 'Requests for Tender' and other bidding opportunities.
• Develop innovative ideas which deliver service and product growth, client satisfaction improvement or operational performance improvement.
• Develop business plans in support of the identified ideas and champion their development and implementation.
• Ensure that work is completed in a safe and profitable manner, on time, to budget and to the client’s satisfaction.
• Ensure that all work is undertaken in accordance with AtkinsRealis's procedures, corporate requirements, and systems, including the Quality Management System and the Safety Management System.
• Provide guidance and expertise in Rail Vehicle Services.
