Job summary

CSG Talent is seeking a Software Engineering Lead/Manager to head robotics software development in Perth, WA. You will own the full software stack—from firmware and ROS2 middleware to UI/UX—and guide a growing team of engineers on client-facing projects.

This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on technical work, requiring strong ROS2 experience, Linux and Unity/web UI skills, and excellent stakeholder communication to translate requirements into reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on ROS2 experience.
• Familiarity with Unity and/or modern web UI frameworks.
• Solid Linux and Docker/container experience.
• Comfort reviewing and supporting firmware-level work.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and projects.
• Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to move fluidly between strategic leadership and hands-on technical work.

Responsibilities
