Job summary

Oberon Council is seeking a motivated and reliable Labourer for a permanent full-time position. You will work across parks, roads, water maintenance, and traffic control, performing hands-on tasks and using tools safely to support our community.

This role offers job security, regular hours from 6:54 am to 4:00 pm, and weekly pay. You’ll need a White Card and a Traffic Controller ticket, plus experience in parks, construction, or roads. Apply before 8 November 2026.

Qualifications

• White Card is required.
• Current Traffic Controller ticket is required.
• Experience in parks, gardens, construction, roads or signs maintenance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete a range of physical maintenance and construction tasks safely.
• Operate tools, machinery and equipment safely.
• Work collaboratively with your crew and colleagues across Council.
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Take on other duties within the scope of the role as required.
