Job summary

Wingecarribee Shire Council seeks an Asset Engineer Roads to support programs and inspections of our road and drainage network. You will drive pre-project programming, project management and engineering advice across urban and rural assets, ensuring on-schedule delivery per budget.

The role offers permanent full-time status, flexible work arrangements including WFH opportunities, and a leaseback vehicle option, with a salary of $108,133.50–$125,669.21 plus allowances.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with road and drainage experience.
• Experience in forward works programs, project and contract management.
• Ability to interpret plans, manage budgets and perform estimates.
• Knowledge of Local Government, Roads Acts and WHS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and inspection of road and drainage maintenance.
• Lead pre-project programming, project management and renewals guidance.
• Ensure projects meet schedules, specifications and budget alignment.
