Job summary

GenusFleet workshop in Kenwick, WA, part of GenusPlus Group (ASX:GNP), seeks skilled tradespeople to service and maintain a range of fleet vehicles and heavy equipment. Roles include mechanics, auto-electricians and welders, with a focus on safety and reliability.

The team operates Monday to Friday with no weekend shifts, offering job security and a pathway within a growing ASX-listed company. EAP support is provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Australian Driver's Licence.
• Trade certificate recognized in Australia.
• Experience as a heavy-duty diesel fitter/mechanic.
• Proven ability to diagnose faults and conduct breakdowns.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Provide general servicing and maintenance for light, medium and heavy vehicles and plant.
• Integrate new technology into existing plant and machinery and refurbish components.
• Conduct performance testing on fleet vehicles and minimise downtime through problem solving.
• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults and implement effective repairs.

Join our Genus Fleet workshop is based in Kenwick WA, with a combination of mechanics, auto-electricians, welders and fleet coordinators.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Provide general servicing and maintenance for various light, medium and heavy road transport, EWP trucks, crane/borers for power line construction, underground horizontal boring, earthmoving equipment and plant.
• Integrate new technology to existing structures of all plant and machinery, including component refurbishing.
• Conduct performance testing on fleet vehicles and reduce equipment downtime with innovative problem solving.
• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults.

Essential Skills / Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Australian Driver's Licence
• Relevant Australian recognised Trade Certificate
• Heavy Duty diesel fitter/mechanic experience
• Previous experience in conducting breakdowns / fault finding
• Strong ability to adapting to different environments and workloads
• Demonstrates a high level of safety and work ethic

Desirable Skills

• Hydraulics experience highly desirable
• Directional drilling and excavating equipment highly desirable
• Elevated Work Platform, Working at Heights and Crane Tickets
• HR driver licence
