Job summary

MLG Oz is seeking experienced Road Train Operators to join our expanding fleet across Western Australia and Northern Territory. Earn up to 600+ AUD per day with flights, accommodation and meals paid.

Strong focus on safety, performance and reliability in on-road and off-road environments. Applicants must hold a current MC Licence, a valid Commercial Driver Fatigue Management Certificate, and a National Police Clearance.

Qualifications

• Must hold MC Licence and valid certifications.
• Mandatory fatigue management certificate (within 2 years).
• National Police Clearance required.
• Experience with triple side tippers and MC equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating road trains and MC equipment.
• Transporting materials per site and road regulations.
• Performing pre-start and post-trip inspections.
• Self-loading with a front-end loader.
• Maintaining records (mileage, fuel, deliveries).
• Adhering to all safety, maintenance and operational procedures.
• Maintaining equipment and tidy work areas.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Road Train Operator, you'll play a key role in safely and efficiently transporting materials across a range of on-road and off-road environments.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Safely operating road trains and/or MC equipment
• Transporting materials in accordance with site and road regulations
• Completing thorough pre-start and post-trip inspectionsSelf-loading and unloading materials using a front-end loader
• Maintaining accurate records including mileage, fuel and delivery information
• Following all company safety, maintenance and operational procedures
• Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and equipment care

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for experienced operators who are safety-focused, reliable and take pride in their work.

You'll need:

• Current and valid MC Licence
• Commercial Driver Fatigue Management Certificate (within the last 2 years)
• National Police Clearance
• Proven experience operating Triple Side Tippers both Road Ranger and Automatic
• Experience self-loading with a front-end loader
• Confidence working across on-road and off-road environments
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• A proactive, can-do attitude
