About The Role

In this role, you’ll be the City’s go‑to engineer for managing public road infrastructure – from assessing development impacts and advising on engineering solutions to handling permits and responding to community requests. You’ll play a key part in planning, policy development and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, while providing professional guidance on road design and service levels.

Role Accountabilities Include

• Deliver expert engineering advice on road design and development projects.
• Manage permits for heavy vehicles, road openings and construction works.
• Investigate and respond to public and stakeholder enquiries on road issues.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for Council on road infrastructure.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to achieve quality outcomes.
