Job summary

Department of Customer Services, Open Data and Small and Family Business in Rockhampton, QLD, is seeking Driving Examiners to assess licence applicants, provide feedback and deliver a positive customer experience.

No previous Driving Examiner experience is required; comprehensive paid training and ongoing support are provided to develop the skills needed to succeed, with flexible full-time and part-time opportunities across Queensland.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Open HR (Heavy Rigid) class Queensland driver licence (or equivalent Australian licence) for minimum of 12 months.
• Higher licence classes will be highly regarded including HC (Heavy Combination) and R (motorcycle) classes.
• Meet the requirements of criminal history and traffic history checks

Responsibilities

• Assess licence applicants, provide professional and constructive feedback.
• Deliver a positive customer experience and guidance during the process.
• Work with diverse customers to support road safety outcomes across Queensland.
