City of Wodonga is seeking a practical, safety-conscious plant operator to maintain our road network across both sealed and unsealed surfaces. You will operate heavy plant and equipment, perform pre-operational inspections, and support programmed and responsive maintenance in a dynamic outdoor setting.

• Practical and safety-conscious plant operator with civil construction or road maintenance experience.
• Ability to operate relevant heavy plant and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Review daily work program and prepare plant, vehicles, tools and materials; perform pre-operational inspections.
• Travel to various worksites for programmed or responsive maintenance on sealed and unsealed roads.
• Operate heavy plant and equipment, manage traffic controls, monitor conditions and protect crew and community.
• Check quality and safety of completed work; report defects and maintain records and timesheets.
