Job summary
UnitingCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the General Surgical Ward / Orthopaedics Surgical Ward at Buderim Private Hospital on the Sunshine Coast. This permanent part-time role requires 12 months’ acute care experience, AHPRA registration, and a commitment to safe, person-centred care in a 24/7 rotating roster.
You’ll deliver holistic nursing, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience in an acute care/hospital setting.
- Bachelor of nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvements.
- Desire for ongoing professional development.
- Availability to work across a 24/7 fortnightly rotating roster.
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment

- Provision of safe and holistic care to individuals and their families, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes.
- Deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, applying exceptional communication and customer service skills.
