Sydney Adventist Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to support our Knight Ward, a 40-bed General and Colorectal Surgery Unit. You will care for patients undergoing gastroenterology, colorectal and general surgeries, ensuring comfort, safety and supportive post-operative care.

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you’ll grow your surgical nursing skills in a collaborative, supported environment that values professional development and a positive workplace culture.

Formación

• Registered Nurse with 12+ months acute care in a hospital setting.
• Experience in colorectal or gastrointestinal surgery nursing is desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rotating roster including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends.

Responsabilidades

• Provide post-operative nursing care and assist with recovery of GI/surgical patients.
• Collaborate with a close-knit team to ensure safe, compassionate patient care.
• Support patients through their stay and discharge planning.
