Southern Cross Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide holistic leadership across care and support teams in our aged care community in Australia. You will assess residents, develop care plans, promote activity, and supervise staff on daily living and clinical care.

You will lead each shift, monitor care quality, and ensure safety while adhering to health policies. A leadership mindset and commitment to person-centred care are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration.
• First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certificates.
• At least 1 year of RN experience in an aged care environment is desirable.
• Strong communication skills with English literacy.
• Excellent time management and ability to support staff.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills, balancing resident independence and safety.
• High-level understanding of dementia care, including challenging behaviours.
• Understanding of AN-ACC to maximise funding.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Standards as they relate to accreditation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide holistic leadership to care and support teams.
• Assess residents' health and functional abilities; develop and maintain care plans.
• Promote meaningful social and physical activities for residents.
• Supervise staff in daily living and clinical care.
• Provide leadership and guidance each shift; monitor care quality and resident wellbeing.
• Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to WHS policies.
