Job summary

Recruitment Hive is partnering with a Federal Government department to recruit a Risk Specialist (Fraud and Corruption) across Australia. The role focuses on conducting fraud and corruption control testing and providing expert risk advice to stakeholders.

The successful candidate will analyse large data sets, identify risks, deliver assessments and recommendations, and stay abreast of regulatory changes in a Commonwealth context.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyse large data sets, identify patterns, trends and potential risks.
• Ability to identify key challenges and deliver risk assessments; approach and testing methods.
• Ability to provide expert recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience in fraud and corruption control testing in a Commonwealth context.

Our client, a Federal Government department based with offices across Australia, responsible for signals intelligence, requires the services of a Risk Specialist (Fraud and Corruption).

Key Duties and Duties

• Conduct fraud and corruption control testing, pursuant to the requirements under the Framework;
• Maintaining relevant professional certifications, up to date with best practices, industry trends and regulatory changes, staying dynamic and adaptable and focused on the one task at hand;
• Provide technical advice in the field of risk testing, assessment and management;
• Understand clearly communication risk types to stakeholders (operational, financial, strategic, and compliance).

Skills and Experience Required

• Ability to analyse large data sets, identify patterns, trends and potential risks to be able to make informed decisions and provide valuable insights;
• Ability to identify key challenges and deliver risk assessments; approach and testing methods;
• Ability to provide expert recommendations to senior stakeholders;
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in fraud and corruption control testing in a Commonwealth context.
