Job summary

Reo Group is recruiting a Senior Risk Manager to lead the build and embedding of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework across a growing insurance business. You will work within the Legal, Risk and Compliance function, reporting to senior leadership and collaborating with key stakeholders.

This role focuses on continuing the development of risk policies, controls, and governance structures while overseeing audits and risk assessments across the organisation, including interactions with lines 2

• Strong risk management background in general insurance (AFSL)

Role Overview

Reo Group is partnering with a well-regarded specialist insurance business to recruit a Senior Risk Manager. Sitting within the Legal, Risk and Compliance function, you will take a lead role in continuing the build and embedding of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework across the business, working closely with senior leadership and key internal stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Strong risk management background within an AFSL general insurance environment.
• Experience across audit, controls testing, and lines 2 and 3.
• Insurer/Underwriting agency experience is highly regarded.
• Confident and credible communicator, comfortable reporting at senior and board level.
• A genuine desire to build and shape a framework rather than simply maintain an existing one.
