American International Group (AIG) is seeking an Analyst, Risk in Change to apply risk, controls, governance and project support skills to ensure change initiatives have proper risk oversight across Australia and New Zealand. Qualifications

• Experience in risk management, project support, governance, controls, compliance or related discipline, ideally within financial services or another regulated environment.
• Strong analytical and data management skills, with the ability to convert complex risk information into clear, practical outputs.
• Ability to support multiple workstreams, manage competing priorities and deliver accurate, well‑organised materials at pace.
• Confidence working with cross‑functional stakeholders, including project teams, ERM, business owners and change partners.
• Sound judgement, attention to detail and curiosity, with a proactive approach to identifying issues, following up actions and supporting effective risk outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical Line 2 risk support across priority project activity, ad‑hoc risk matters and enterprise risk uplift initiatives, helping to strengthen risk identification, assessment, documentation and governance across Australia and New Zealand.
• Assist with risk assessments, issue and action tracking, control documentation, governance materials and reporting packs.
• Provide ad‑hoc analytical, coordination and stakeholder support to help resolve risk matters and maintain momentum across deliverables.
• Work with business stakeholders and change/project teams to promote consistent application of risk frameworks, tools and expectations.
• Capture insights, dependencies and emerging risks to support escalation, oversight and continuous improvement across the Line 2 risk agenda.
