Job summary

SB Recruitment is seeking a Risk Analyst in Enterprise Risk, Compliance and Advisory. You will sit at the center of regulatory, assurance and reporting work, turning complex obligations into clear insights for the business and the board.

You will bring hands-on ASIC reporting experience, strong knowledge of the Australian regulatory landscape for lending and credit, and a background in risk, compliance, advisory or internal audit within financial services.

Qualifications

• H hands on ASIC reporting experience and ability to interpret regulatory requirements in a commercial setting.
• A good working knowledge of the Australian regulatory landscape for lending and credit, including collections and hardship.
• A background in risk, compliance, assurance, advisory or internal audit within financial services.
• Comfortable working with data, reporting tools and metrics, and confident presenting insights clearly.
• Able to thrive in a changing environment with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support ASIC reporting and translate requirements into practical action.
• Synthesise information across the business into clear insight and board-ready reporting.
• Support licensing, obligations management, assurance and advisory projects.
• Collaborate with data and insights capability on IDR and EDR reporting.
• Contribute to leveraging AI and analytics to lift risk reporting quality.
• Partner with assurance, internal audit, AML and fraud teams and collections QA.

The Company….. A well established Australian financial services business with multiple licensed entities is entering its next phase of growth. The risk, legal and compliance function is evolving to a true enterprise risk model. The team reports directly into the board and has a clear governance mandate. You will join a group of solid, hard working people with deep experience across lending, settlements and originations.

The Job….. This is an analyst level role with a strong advisory leaning. You will sit at the centre of the team's regulatory, assurance and reporting work, turning complex obligations into clear and practical insight for the business and the board.

• Prepare and support ASIC reporting, and help the business understand what the requirements mean in practice
• Synthesise information from across the business into clear insight and reporting for senior stakeholders
• Support licensing, obligations management, assurance and advisory projects
• Work with the data and insights capability in the team, understanding how data comes together, including IDR and EDR reporting
• Contribute to a team that is looking to leverage AI and analytics to lift the quality of risk reporting
• Partner with colleagues across assurance, internal audit, AML and fraud, and collections quality assurance
