Westpac is seeking a Risk Analyst for its Financial Crime Surveillance team in Adelaide. The role focuses on identifying, assessing and managing AML, sanctions and customer due diligence risks within the first line of defence. Initially 12-month max term with full-time hours, based in Adelaide. After a comprehensive 7-week onboarding, the role moves to a hybrid model with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote each
The Financial Crime Surveillance (FCS) team is part of Westpac’s Risk Division and is responsible for detecting, deterring and fighting financial crime.
As a Risk Analyst within Westpac's Financial Crime Surveillance team, you will play a key role in safeguarding our customers, communities and organisation from financial crime. Working as part of the first line of defence, you will identify, assess and manage risks relating to AML, sanctions and customer due diligence, while investigating cases, supporting stakeholders, and delivering strong risk and compliance outcomes.
