Engineeringtradesaustralia is hiring an experienced Rigger for a long-term project at an oil and gas site in Sydney. The role blends standard rigging responsibilities with Trade Assistant tasks, supporting Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers on a major refurbishment project.

The ideal candidate holds a valid rigging and dogging licence, White Card, Working at Heights, and an EWP licence. Prior oil & gas or heavy industrial site exposure is highly valued; 6–12 months of work potential with strong

Responsibilities

• Perform standard rigging and dogging duties across the site.
• Assist Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers with fabrication, fitting, and repair tasks.
• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for use by tradespeople.
• Move, lift, and position loads and equipment safely.
• Support fault-finding, maintenance, and refurbishment tasks as directed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all site safety procedures and requirements.

Job Description

Immediate Rigging role available to join a long term project at an oil and gas site in Sydney.

We're seeking an experienced Rigger to join a large-scale site refurbishment project at an oil and gas facility in Kurnell. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands‑on Rigger to combine standard rigging duties with Trade Assistant work, supporting Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers across a major 6-12 month project.
