NSW Health, based at NSLHD Revenue Department in St Leonards, seeks a Qualified Accountant to lead Restricted Financial Assets (RFA) and Custodial Trust Funds (CTF) accounting. This role focuses on accurate reporting and RoPP management within a health environment, requiring strong trust accounting experience and professional communication.

You will work with the NSLHD team to implement procedures, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide timely insights to support patient care

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or Commerce and eligibility for membership of a recognised Australian professional accounting body, together with extensive experience in trust financial accounting, including balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Describe your experience managing Right of Private Practice (RoPP) arrangements within a health environment or a similar setting in another organisation.
• Demonstrate high-level written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills, including your ability to prepare clear and professional business documentation and establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, internal stakeholders and external customers. Please also outline your knowledge and experience in using Oracle systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Implement and manage a range of RFA, CTF and other accounting functions across Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD).
• Provide high quality accounting management and timely, accurate reporting of RFA & CTF funds and RoPP arrangements to meet organisational requirements.
