Kappa Executive Search is helping a NSW-based architecture practice find a capable coordinator who will work as the 2IC to the Project Leader on large-scale multi-residential developments and private aged care residences.
You will be involved in design development, tender and construction, coordinating consultants, reviewing information and supporting the Project Leader with client communication and project priorities.
This is a strong stepping-stone role for someone who is already trusted with coordination and delivery, but wants more exposure to project leadership before taking full ownership of a job.
You’ll work as the 2IC to a Project Leader across large-scale multi-residential developments and private aged care residences in NSW. The role will give you much broader involvement than a pure documentation position, with responsibility across consultant coordination, Revit documentation, project information, programme tracking, technical resolution and day-to-day team support.
You’ll be helping keep complex projects moving through design development, tender and construction, coordinating structural, services and specialist consultants, reviewing incoming information, resolving documentation issues and supporting the Project Leader with client communication and project priorities. You’ll also be involved in maintaining drawing quality, managing coordination across packages and making sure technical information is properly resolved before it reaches site.
It’s well suited to someone who enjoys the delivery side of architecture and is ready to take the next step towards Project Leader level, but wants to build that experience in a structured environment rather than being expected to run everything alone from day one.
This is an established international architecture and design practice with more than 30 years of experience and a strong reputation across multi-residential, seniors living and aged care.
The Sydney studio works on substantial residential and later-living projects throughout NSW, supported by broader international experience and specialist knowledge across architecture, interiors and master planning.
The business is in a growth phase and has been investing in future leaders, with clear progression opportunities for people who want to build towards senior project and management positions over time.
