Job summary

ALDI Stores in Adelaide is looking for a Store Assistant to join our busy team. No prior retail experience is required; bring a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn as you help customers, stock shelves and keep the store looking great.

We open daily including weekends; you’ll work across store areas to gain variety and training. Average of 20 hours per week with permanent part-time status and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• No retail know-how required, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Customer service orientation and ability to work in a team.
• Strong work ethic and reliability for weekend and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at registers with a smile and assist with purchases.
• Keep shelves stocked and ensure products are in date and correctly priced.
• Create eye-catching displays for ALDI special buys.
• Maintain a tidy, organized store environment and station hygiene.
• Support other store areas as needed and be flexible in tasks.
