Job summary

Elders Rural Services Australia Limited is seeking a Retail Sales Representative to join the Roma team on a permanent full-time basis. You will support the branch’s retail team, assist with logistics, stock receive/dispatch, and use product knowledge to serve clients.

Your role includes building strong client relationships and delivering a complete rural product delivery service. You will thrive in a collaborative team environment, possess strong sales skills, and be capable of meeting KPIs

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with clients by recommending Elders products and services.
• Proactively source new business opportunities to meet KPIs and targets.
• Support inventory management, including stocktake and safe dispatch of rural products.
• Process sales transactions and prepare sales quotes for clients.
• Provide a complete delivery service, ensuring timely and efficient distribution of rural products.
• Assist with storage, handling, and receiving of stock, adhering to safety standards.

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Sales Representative to join our Roma team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a Retail Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Branch's retail team. You will be responsible for providing logistics support, including the safe receiving and dispatching of stock, while leveraging your expert product knowledge and exceptional customer service skills. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients will be essential as you explore new opportunities for them. Supported by the extensive Elders network, you will have access to the necessary tools and resources to grow and advance in your career.

Responsibilities

About You

Possess technical knowledge of seasonal and rural products to effectively support clients. Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and possess strong retail skills. Capable of delivering high levels of customer service and cultivating relationships with current and prospective clients.

Hold a valid driver’s license A heavy rigid truck license is preferred, with support available to obtain one. A forklift license is preferred, with support available to obtain one.
