Job summary

Elders Rural Services in Miles, Queensland, is seeking a Retail Sales Representative with a passion for the Ag industry to join our Miles team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will support the Branch's retail team, handle stock logistics, and provide exceptional customer service to help clients grow their businesses.

We're looking for a team player with strong retail and sales skills, capable of building relationships with current and prospective clients.

Qualifications

• Friendly, can-do attitude.
• Interest in animal health and rural products.
• Experience in sales and strong retail skills.
• Possess a valid driver’s license; heavy rigid truck and forklift licenses preferred with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by recommending Elders products and services to enhance their business growth.
• Proactively source new business opportunities to meet KPIs and targets.
• Support inventory management, including stocktake and safe dispatch of rural products.
• Process sales transactions and prepare sales quotes for clients.
• Provide a complete delivery service, ensuring timely and efficient distribution of rural products.
• Assist with storage, handling, and receiving of stock, adhering to safety standards.

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Sales Representative with a passion for the Ag industry, to join our Miles team on a permanent, full-time basis.

A friendly, can-do attitude, along with a strong interest in animal health/feed lotting would be desirable. Training will be provided.

As a Retail Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Branch's retail team. You will be responsible for providing logistics support, including the safe receiving and dispatching of stock, while leveraging your expert product knowledge and exceptional customer service skills. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients will be essential as you explore new opportunities for them. Supported by the extensive Elders network, you will have access to the necessary tools and resources to grow and advance in your career.
