Job summary

Harvey Norman Lake Haven Technology & Entertainment is seeking a motivated salesperson with a passion for technology to join the team. You’ll help customers choose computers, laptops, tablets and mobile phones, turning product knowledge into sales and earning commission on top of a base wage.

This part-time/casual role offers weekend and late trading hours, generous staff discounts, and the backing of a national brand in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or technology sales experience preferred.

The role

You’ll be selling leading computer, laptop, mobile phone, technology and entertainment products, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.

This isn’t simply about knowing the products — it’s about understanding why a customer needs them, asking the right questions and confidently recommending the solution that best suits them.

You’ll be expected to manage your customers from the initial conversation through to the sale, while identifying opportunities to maximize both the customer’s experience and your sales results.

What we require

• Previous retail sales or technology sales experience is highly regarded


• Strong knowledge and genuine interest in computers and mobile phones


• The ability to confidently discuss specifications, features, benefits and product differences


• A genuine passion for technology and keeping up with new products


• Strong communication and customer service skills


• Confidence asking for the sale and closing deals


• A proven ability to work towards and achieve sales targets


• The ability to identify sales opportunities and maximize every customer interaction


• A strong work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond


• Flexibility to work across retail trading hours, including weekends, public holidays and late-night trades

The Opportunity

Part-Time/Casual — minimum 24 hours per week, with the opportunity to work up to 38 hours.
