Job summary

The Salvation Army Ringwood Salvos Store is seeking a values-driven Sales Assistant to support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations and deliver an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers and community. This permanent, part-time role (30.4 hours per fortnight) is based in Ringwood, VIC, with Saturday availability required.

Salary and conditions follow the Retail General Industry Award, Level 3.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales preferred but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills and a high energy, people-focused approach.
• Ability to work Saturdays and across multiple retail locations as part of a rolling roster.

Responsibilities

• Operate Point-of-Sale devices and handle transactions.
• Sort, price, and display donations in-store.
• Assist in visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers.
