Job summary

Prouds The Jewellers in Victoria is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for Prouds Southland to partner with the Store Manager, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will lead a high-performing team, coach staff, and step in to run the store as needed to ensure smooth operations.

You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, training and developing Team Members, managing inventory, rostering and loss prevention, while maintaining brand standards and a positive store

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience (Assistant Manager, 2IC, 3IC or senior sales professional).
• Genuine passion for selling and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Ability to coach, motivate and support others to achieve strong sales results.
• Confidence to step up and lead the store when required.
• Strong planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and solve problems calmly and professionally.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build genuine relationships with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and maximise every sales opportunity.
• Coach and motivate Team Members to achieve individual and store sales goals.
• Take ownership of store performance and operations when the Store Manager is away.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of Team Members.
• Assist with store operations including inventory, rostering, visual standards and loss prevention.
• Foster a positive, accountable team culture with recognition of great performance.
