Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Optus in Sydney Inner City is looking for a Retail Consultant to help customers navigate products and services, explain tech clearly and build confidence in decisions. You'll balance great customer experiences with store responsibilities and work towards team goals.
You'll join a supportive team across George Street, World Square, Broadway and Zetland, with opportunities across casual, part-time and full-time roles.
At Optus, every great customer experience starts with a conversation. That's how we help millions of Australians stay connected to the people, information and experiences that matter most.
Customers visit our stores for all sorts of reasons. They might be choosing a new phone, setting up internet, exploring new technology or looking for support when something hasn't gone to plan. Technology can be exciting. It can also feel overwhelming when you're comparing options, getting connected or trying to solve an issue. That's why every conversation matters. By taking the time to understand what's important to each customer, we make things easier, build trust and help find the solution that's right for them.
That's where you come in.
Every day, you'll meet people with different needs, experiences and levels of confidence. As a Retail Consultant, you'll listen carefully, explain things simply and help customers feel comfortable making decisions that work for them.
You'll be joining a team that supports one another, works towards shared goals and takes pride in helping both customers and teammates succeed. We're building a talent community across our Sydney Inner City store cluster, including George Street, World Square, Broadway and Zetland, and would love to hear from people interested in casual, part-time and full-time opportunities.
Along the way, you'll build confidence and skills in communication, customer experience, sales, teamwork and problem solving that can support future opportunities within Optus and beyond.
A role in retail can be the start of something much bigger.
Every day, you'll build skills in communication, customer experience, sales, teamwork, problem solving and leadership while working alongside people who want to see you succeed. Whether you're starting out, changing direction or growing your career, you'll have the support, training and opportunities to develop skills that can take you further within Optus and beyond.
And because feeling supported helps you do your best work, you'll have access to benefits that support you:
